The 2025 ASP Trip is Complete!
Each year, we send a team of youth and adult members of our congregation on a week-long service project to an assigned rural, low-income area along the Appalachia Trail.
ASP’s focus is on communities in West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky and North Carolina. Once there, we join other Christians to repair and build homes in high-poverty regions.
Appalachia Service Project is a non-denominational Christian ministry, open to all people, that inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair in Central Appalachia. The JELC ASP Team is part of tens of thousands of volunteers from across the United States, who provide safer living conditions for those that can’t provide for themselves.
