About Us

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church has been privileged to bring people together to hear and live The Good News of the Lord Jesus Christ for nearly two centuries.

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church

Jerusalem Lutheran Church Schwenksville PA Jerusalem has a rich heritage dating back to 1835, and has a diverse congregation of young families, mid-lifers and seniors. In 2011, we celebrated our 175th anniversary. In 2014, we celebrated 150 years of the current Church building and 40 years of our fantastic Tracker organ.

Jerusalem Lutheran prides itself on a long history and focus toward our community and service, both at home and far away. We support a wide variety of programs for our youth from scouting to service projects.

Jerusalem has a very active group of lay communion members that provide visitation and communion to our shut-ins, activities within our church family and vibrant youth program.

Jerusalem Lutheran is the red brick church at the corner of Church Steet and Second Street in Schwenksville. We’re just up the hill from the Schwenksville Fire Company and across the street from the Perkiomen Valley Library.

Come and worship with us! All are welcome!
